Privacy Policy

LETer is an unofficial Android client for LowEndTalk. This policy explains how the app handles information on your device and when information is sent to third parties.

Forum account and content

When you sign in, LowEndTalk authentication cookies are stored on your device to keep your forum session available. LETer sends those cookies to LowEndTalk only to load pages and complete actions you request, including viewing, replying, posting, messaging, bookmarking, editing, and reporting content. Forum content is handled by LowEndTalk under its own policies.

Subscriptions and purchases

Google Play processes payment details, free-trial enrollment, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and payment failures. LETer does not receive or store payment card details. RevenueCat processes an application user identifier, purchase token, product identifier, subscription status, and transaction information to validate Google Play purchases and return the entitlement that unlocks the app.

Image uploads

When you choose an image, it is sent to the image host selected in the app, such as ImgBB, Nodeimage, Imgur, or a custom compatible endpoint. Upload credentials are stored locally using Android secure storage where available.

Local app data

LETer stores preferences, drafts, cache data, session state, image-upload settings, and local diagnostic events on your device. Diagnostics are not automatically uploaded. A support report is copied to your clipboard only when you choose that action.

Sharing and external sites

Information is sent only to LowEndTalk, Google Play, RevenueCat, or a service you select for image uploads. LETer does not operate an advertising network, analytics service, crash-reporting backend, or tracking server. External links and in-app web pages are governed by the receiving website's policies.

Your choices

You can sign out to clear the local forum session, clear cached app data in the app, remove image-upload credentials, and manage a Google Play subscription from the Play subscriptions center. See account and data controls for details.
